How to play
- Green letters are given. The rest sit loose below the grid.
- Drag a loose letter into a square — or tap the letter, then tap the square.
- Fill a whole row or column and it's checked. If it's a real word, the letters turn green.
- Use every loose letter to make eight interconnected words and the puzzle is solved.
Stuck? Hint reveals one letter, twice per puzzle. A hint costs a move and adds a minute to your time — and it locks that square.
How to play Duos
- Eight halves sit around a ring. Every two of them make a four-letter word.
- Drag a half into the row — or tap the half, then tap a space. Fill both spaces and the word is checked. A real word turns green and leaves the ring.
- Find all four words and they move out to the corners.
- Stack the four words in the centre so every column reads as a word too. Get the order right and the whole stack turns green. It's all or nothing: no column is marked right on its own.
Two minutes on the clock. Finish within 30 seconds for 100 points; after that each second costs a point, down to 10 on the buzzer. Run out of time and you can still finish the puzzle — it just won't score. The clock keeps running if you leave the page.
